Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that Marcus Rashford will miss Brighton and Hove Albion but Harry Maguire would be available.
Man United will look to continue from where they left off on Monday against Brentford when they play visitors to Breighton this weekend.
United bounced back to winning ways with a 3-0 win against The Bees, having lost three and drew one in their last four games prior to Monday’s win.
Now, United will look to maintain their momentum in a clash that wouldn’t make enough impact in the Premier League table for either side.
On Rashford’s absence, the German boss said: “Marcus Rashford will be missing, he’s got bronchitis with a high temperature so he won’t be able to be part of the group and we have a question mark on Eric Bailly, he called the doctor this morning and had some back problems.”
“Harry [Maguire] is back in training, he trained the whole week since the second day after the Brentford game so he will be available for tomorrow and part of the group,” Rangnick said of the England international’s availability.
In his absence, Manchester United lost 3-1 to Arsenal last month, with Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane as centre-backs.
Maguire, who suffered a knee injury during Man United’s draw against Chelsea, also missed the 3-1 win over Brentford.
