Ralf Rangnick told to sell Manchester United star before the player gets him sacked

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has advised Ralf Rangnick to offload Anthony Martial before the forward gets him sacked.

Reports are suggesting that Martial wants to leave Man United in January amid lack of playing time.

The summer arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho thwarted the France star’s chances of getting back to his best this season, following his dreadful performances last term.

Due to lack of playing time, Martial’s agent has openly said his client wants to leave the club in the winter transfer market and has advised the club to start playing the France star in order to boost the forward’s chances of sealing a decent move away from Old Trafford.

Jordan has accused Anthony Martial as one of those players who gets managers sacked and had warned Rangnick, Man United’s interim manager, about the danger of holding Martial back.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Jordan said: “Get the cab ready and put Martial in it as quickly as you possibly can. I think Martial is one of those players that gets you the sack.

“I think he is the archetypal Manchester United player of the last half a decade that on paper looks a great player, got all the ability but when it comes to it, the heart’s the size of a pea.

“He wants to go – good riddance if I am United.”
