Manchester United are not in their best shape in recent weeks, something Roy Keane agrees to, but yet he expects his former club to put out a good show against Aston Villa.
Man United will look to bounce back to winning ways when they host Villa at Old Trafford on Monday night in the FA Cup.
United succumbed to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford last week Monday but they would be determined to impress their fans by putting out a top display against the Villans.
Keane expects Manchester United to come out on top against Steven Gerard’s side, though admits his old club have not been at their best in recent matches.
The Irish football pundit slammed Harry Maguire for his comments about urging United players and fans to ‘stick together‘ while they try to arrest the cause of their poor run of form.
Keane said: “I judge a player on what he does on a football pitch, not what rubbish he comes out with about ‘we need to stick together’.”
“How many times has he said that? I wouldn’t listen too much to what Harry [Maguire] has to say.”
