AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has apologised for insulting Manchester United assistant coach Kieran McKenna after the clash at Milan.
Man United successfully forced Milan to bow out of the Europa League competition after beating the Serie A side 1-0 at San Siro.
The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last week and Manchester United needed a win or at least a 2-2 draw in order to proceed and eventually, the former became the case.
Paul Pogba replaced injured Marcus Rashford at half-time and would go on to score the match-winning goal in the 49th minute as he marked his return from a thigh injury with style.
After the last whistle at Mialn, Pioli was involved in a brief spat with Kieran McKenna as he headed towards the tunnel.
The AC Milan coach was infuriated over McKenna’s tactics to waste time at the end of the game, with the Man United coach kicking the ball away on multiple occasions in an attempt to calm the tempo of the game down. LOL
After the Milan boss walked past McKenna on the touchline as he was making his way to the tunnel, the United assistant said to the Pioli, ‘good game’.
But television cameras caught Piolo’s ranted reply: ‘Good team s***, a***hole you are nothing else, a***! Your sister good team, your sister.’ **disgusting**

Early reports confused McKenna with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and had claimed that Pioli had directed the insult towards the Manchester United manager.
But the AC Milan boss has now verified the situation and revealed the insult wasn’t targeted at the United boss.
‘I’m sorry for the reaction I had, it won’t happen again,’ Pioli told ANSA.
‘I gave my Solskjaer compliments, I was angry with his assistant.’ **class**
