Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes leapt to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defence after Watford defeat.

Man United lost 4-1 at the Vicarage Road after yet another disasterclass performance.

Donny van de Beek came off the bench to pull a goal back but a red card to Harry Maguire thwarted United’s chances of staging a comeback.

The home side would score two late goals to finally seal what many described as a horrifying game for United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer walked towards the travelling fans to appreciate them for supporting them but it took a different turn as some fans booed at the Norwegian.

Fernandes leapt to Solskjaer’s defence as he urged the fans to ease their anger at the manager and instead direct it towards the players.

The Portuguese midfielder made the fans understand that United’s inability to beat Watford was rather down to the players.

Manchester United have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches.

It isn’t looking good for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the manager could lose his job before Villarreal clash.
